We’ve got big things coming up this Spring and Summer.
Thursday, May 9th at 8am the Walk to End Alzheimers will kick off with a team meeting at Wendy’s in Onley. The walk will be in October so we need to start getting ready now. See you there.
Sunday, May 19th everyone is invited to breakfast at 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall. The Mize’s will be cooking breakfast for everybody (so give them a big texas sized hug). Then Mark will lead a discussion on Pentecost. The Day the Church began.
Our Weekend VBS is scheduled for June 29th and 30th. It was incredibly successful last year and we are going to need all the help we can get. So start praying for the children whose lives are going to be changed and if you haven’t signed up to help yet see Shirley Deeds.
The July Fourth parade will be on a Thursday this year. This is a great chance to let the whole community know who Drummondtown Baptist is and a great fundraiser. Tommy Hines and Mark Deeds always do a great job with the Barbecue so get ready for a great Fourth.
